Karin graduated with a Diploma in Professional Make-up Artistry and a Certificate in Professional Hairstyling from the School of Make-up Singapore in 2001.Having gained invaluable international experience in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia, she recently returned to South African shores and now resides in Knysna.

With recent events such as The Garden Route Wedding Expo Fashion Show, Miss Pearl Pageant, Women's Day Fashion show at Simola, to name a few, not only has she taken the fashion industry on the Garden Route by storm, she has made many a bride radiant with beauty on her wedding day.
Her easy going personality has made her a favorite with brides and sought after backstage for fashion shows and pageants as she is able to keep her cool even under extreme pressure. Celebrities she has worked her magic on include Nadya Hutagalung from MTV Asia fame and most recently, Christina Storm(Egoli) at the George Cheese Festival, Liezel van der Westhuizen (Mnet Idols) at The Miss Teen Langeberg Mall Mossel Bay Pageant, Wendy Oldfield for the cover of South Magazine and Lyndall Jarvis for SABC's Top Billing.
